A couple of weeks ago we got an email from Grace at Design*Sponge letting us know she wanted feature Liam’s nursery on the site as a Before&After. We love going to her blog for design inspiration and ideas so of course we were honored and said yes. Here is a screenshot of the post.

This is one of my favorite sellers on etsy. All of stitchface’s plush characters are awesome and this is just one of our many favorites from their store. Check out “Leave it to Beaver” and the other awesome stitchface creations at www.stitchface.etsy.com
I think I originally came across this handmade designer on a designsponge post awhile back. All of simplijessi’s characters are so right on, they are amazing! This is another store where we would be happy to have all of the creations in the store, but Roger might be our most favorite. Check out simplijessi’s store at www.simplijessi.etsy.com
There are so many different directions we could take the babies room design-wise, but I think Paul Thurlby’s illustrations would fit perfectly with what we are thinking. He pulls off what could be some pretty stereotypical ideas with amazing execution and style. The L has the color scheme we like and fits into the transportation/cars dealio, the M has all the woodsy-forest creatures, and the J brings the music. AND right now his Alphabet Shop has a buy 2 get 1 free deal going on…I’m just sayin’.
Both the Birch Screen Printed Wool Log Pillow and the brown version are classic favorites from myimaginaryboyfriend’s etsy store. We are just big fans of anything faux wood in general and this is the epitome of just that.
I want to go on the record and say that we first and foremost support the purchasing of handmade goods. And secondly, the designs put out by DwellStudio. They just know how to do baby stuff right and I guess they know it, cause they tend to charge an arm and a leg for it. The transportation designs are our favorite and if the crib bedding set didn’t cost more than the entire furniture set we registered for we might consider it.
The baby mobile is an essential as far as I’m concerned. I’m surprised I haven’t ventured off and made a mobile for our bed…maybe when I get some free time! There are a few quality mobiles out there and we registered for a nice simple one from Land of Nod, but the Aeromobile Click-a-mobile one from giggle.com is pretty awesome too. I think Kimmel would support the subliminal aviation encouragement.
